... every star we see in the sky is part of the Milky Way galaxy. We can't see inidvidual stars in other galaxies because those galaxies are too far away. Each galaxy will have between 10 million to 1 trillion stars, and it is estimated there are over 100 billion galaxies in the universe. That's a lot of stars - what are the chances there might be another one just like our Sun, with a planet just like Earth, with life just like ours?
