The Lethbridge Astronomy Society is composed of individuals from all walks of life who are interested in astronomy and space science. The Society is a non-profit, charitable organization, incorporated under Alberta’s Societies Act. We host many in-person and online educational events for the general public, schools, corporate organizations, other nonprofit societies and students of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Lethbridge.

Over the past 30+ years, we have built one of the finest amateur astronomy facilities in Canada.  Important relationships with the City of Lethbridge, the Province of Alberta and the University of Lethbridge support our ongoing program activity. We have no paid staff and general operations are conducted entirely by member volunteers. Members of the Lethbridge Astronomy Society have access to our facilities, to our equipment and to free mentoring from experienced club members.

As a Registered Charity in Canada, we gratefully accept any and all donations. If you wish to donate, find us at canadahelps.org, or email us at lethbridgeastronomy@gmail.com.
