From the general vicinity of Lethbridge, Alberta:
  • From West Lethbridge, take University Drive South - go past the university - continue until you come to a traffic circle.
  • Go half way around the circle and continue south for 300 metres.
  • Turn right onto a gravel road following the sign for Popson Park.
  • Follow the gravel road for approximately 800 metres until you see the entrance to Popson Park, on your left.
  • Enter Popson Park and make your way down the hill into the river valley.
  • Follow the road to the end; you will see a City of Lethbridge picnic shelter on the left and the Observatory straight ahead. Enter through gate and proceed to the Centre.
